Producer
Maternal health awareness campaign
Maternal Negligence is a Spirit Award–winning original screenplay and social impact project developed in collaboration with the UC Irvine School of Medicine and School of the Arts. As Director and Project Lead, I oversaw all aspects of production—from organizing cross-departmental partnerships to managing administrative logistics, casting, post-production, and community engagement. The film follows a young Black mother who unknowingly suffers from preeclampsia.
Educator
theatrical arts & cinema
I currently serve as a faculty member at Normandale Community College—Minnesota’s top community college—where I teach Acting, Voice & Movement, Musical Theatre Performance, Cinema, TV and Digital Media, and Introduction to Theatre. My curriculum blends practical techniques with culturally responsive pedagogy, emphasizing storytelling as a tool for self-expression, healing, and social change.
